Heat Scale: 3/5

Corn with a kick. Inspired by elotes, the classic Mexican street corn, this hot sauce captures all the smoky, zesty, and cheesy flavours of the beloved snack. Roasted corn and ancho chile create a rich, toasty base, while lime and cilantro brighten each bite. Nutritional yeast adds a cheesy note, and habanero heat ties it together in a bold, medium-spice blend that is fun, flavourful, and totally addictive. Drizzle it over tacos, burritos, or grilled corn on the cob. Pour it on nachos, toss it with wings, or stir into queso for the ultimate game-day dip. Brush it over roasted veggies, smoky ribs, or fajitas for an instant street corn upgrade. Mix it into mayo or crema for a tangy elote-style drizzle that works on everything from fries to grain bowls. It is also perfect for breakfast, splashed on scrambled eggs, huevos rancheros, breakfast burritos, or avocado toast for a smoky start to your day.

A Culinary Love Story Featuring Chile Lime + Street Corn

As a Winnipeg girl with a weakness for street corn, hot sauce, and cute packaging, I did not stand a chance the moment I stumbled upon Pueblo Chili at the Regina Farmers’ Market this summer. I met the lovely owner who is equal parts warm, kind, and dangerous because she keeps inventing flavors I can’t live without.

I bought a few bottles that day, including their Hot Olive hot sauce which I then proceeded to demolish over one pizza. One. Single. Pizza. I was basically drinking it like broth. No regrets.

But then she mentioned a new flavor coming soon: Chile Lime + Street Corn. My brain short-circuited. My ancestors whispered. The angels paused their harps.

On my second visit, I sprinted to her booth like it was the Amazing Race. This time she offered me a sample of the new flavor, and my taste buds performed a full Broadway number. Tangy, smoky, bright, layered, like actual street corn but with a lime squeeze and a tiny slap in the face. Pure culinary serotonin.

But… still not bottled. I left the market emotionally unstable.

Fast-forward a few weeks ago: I saw it available online and clicked add to cart so fast my phone got whiplash. My mom (absolute queen) picked it up from the owner’s doorstep and smuggled it back to Winnipeg like she was transporting rare jewels.

And now? I’ve eaten it on everything: tacos, pizza, popcorn, chicken, roasted veggies, spoons… listen, I’m not here to be judged. The flavor is balanced, bright, smoky, creamy-corny, and honestly weirdly nostalgic, like the streets of Mexico and a backyard BBQ had a baby and that baby became a sauce.

Final verdict: This hot sauce is a masterpiece. A revelation. A saucy little overachiever.
