Now let's get into the Blueberry & Thyme Chipotle Berry Smash recipe. You can find the process on our Instagram Reels.
Blueberry & Thyme Chipotle Berry Smash
Makes 2 cocktails
- 1oz thyme simple syrup
- 1oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1.5tbsp Pueblo Chipotle Berry hot sauce
- 4oz lōk(e)l Vodka
- soda water
- halved lemon slices, 2 blueberries, sprig of thyme, to garnish
To make your simple syrup, heat 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar and some sprigs of thyme over low heat on the stove until all the sugar is dissolved and the thyme flavour is well infused.
To make the cocktail: add your blueberries, fresh squeezed lemon juice, simple syrup, and Pueblo Chipotle Berry hot sauce to a cocktail shaker. Muddle until the blueberries are well crushed. Add your vodka, then top with ice. Shake in the cocktail shaker until well combined, about 30 seconds.
Fill two cocktail glasses with ice, then strain the cocktail evenly amongst the two glasses. Top with soda water, and add 1/2 a lemon slice, two berries, and a sprig of thyme to each to garnish.
